Granite
Heat-proof, scratch-resistant, and no two slabs alike.
Granite forms deep underground as molten rock cools slowly over millions of years. That’s what gives it the crystals, flecks and shimmer you see in each slab.
It’s one of the hardest natural stones you can put in a home. Hot pans, knives and busy family kitchens don’t worry it. Sealed properly, it shrugs off most stains too.

Questions we get asked
Does granite stain?
Lighter granites can absorb oil if left unsealed. Once sealed, spills wipe away. We seal on install day and show you how to reseal.
Is every slab different?
Yes. That’s why we always have you see and approve your actual slab before we cut.
